My Angel

She walks with me
in the shadows,
forbidden by the sun.
She is always there with me
in the darkness,
unbeknownst to even herself.
She waits with me
in the morning,
trapped by the light of day.
She eludes me for the rising,
wishing she were somewhere else.

I am pleased to report that the Italian government said they will grant asylum to Pegah Emambakhsh who is scheduled to be deported to Iran. I just wanted to give you a happy update on this heavy situation…I hope it all works out for her!!!
